The 2016 ASPIRES summer interns presented their project at the American Society for Engineering Education 2017 Pacific Southwest Conference (ASEE/PSW-2017) in Tempe, AZ.

The 2016 ASPIRES summer interns Jeffrey Yan, James Dalton, Bianca Doronila, Kattia Chang-Kam, Victor Melara, and Christopher Thomas presented a paper entitled “Engaging Community College Students in Computer Engineering Research through Design and Implementation of a Versatile Gesture Control Interface” at the American Society for Engineering Education 2017 Pacific Southwest Conference (ASEE/PSW-2017) in Tempe, AZ, in April 2017. The graduate student mentor is Ian Donovan and the faculty advisor is Dr. Xiaorong Zhang. The project was also the winner out of all the internship projects in summer 2016.
